Those of us in the fire service have chosen it because we wanted to use our talents to help people and serve our communities. As a firefighter, you will be trained and expected to perform incredible acts of service for others. You will make a difference in people’s lives. You may calm a child or you may even save a life. When in uniform, you are always a role model that others respect and look up to. It is a huge and rewarding responsibility.
